Welcome to Provo Canyon Outfitters

Provo Canyon Outfitters has an ideal location that provides shaded parking next to the Provo river. We offer the longest float of any outfitter in Provo Canyon. The float is five miles long and lasts about two hours.

Our season is 7 days/week from Memorial Day to the end of September, weather and river conditions permitting. Please contact us in September to make sure we are open when you want to float. We mostly have single float tubes but we also have a limited number of rafts and double tubes.

Walk-ins are always welcome!

Know before you go

Although the Provo river is considered a mild river, tubing can still be strenuous. You need to be able to enter and exit the river multiple times, and the banks may be steep and muddy. Life jackets are provided and are required, but we recommend that you be a good swimmer. The water is roughly 55°F year around.

Tubers must weigh less than 275 pounds and be in good physical condition. Please read our FAQ page for more information.

The best way to speed up the check-in process is to have a liability waiver form filled out when you arrive. Just one waiver required per group, NOT one per person. All members of the group must legibly write their name and sign the waiver.
